Daniel James Kopton has over 14 years of professional photography experience, 10 of which has been spent working primarily as a high end retoucher. He currently works as a freelance retoucher / digital assistant with a growing income from shooting.   Having worked as a professional darkroom printer his grasp on the concepts of color and retouching set him a mark above. He graduated with a degree in Photography from Columbia College, Chicago and shoots primarily what catches his eye. Photography as an exercise in the Zen practice of being in the moment.   The danklife blog is a place for him to link to interesting things, and ramble on for friends.
